Beatles
Album Covers
The last album released, but the second last recorded. It is
a very good album, recorded live in the studio and released
in 1970
The best album ever!! Abbey Road was the last album they ever
recorded and the best! Released in October 1969.
This is not really a true Beatles album. It is the soundtrack
to the 1968 film, "Yellow Submarine", featuring
them. One half consists of songs written and recorded mostly
two years peviously and the other half contains the classical
music score, written by George Martin. Definately not their
best.
The famous double album. This album is amazing. It has
classics such as "Back In The USSR" and
"Birthday" on it. This album costs rather alot to
buy(£30), but its worth it. All these songs were written
during the Beatles stay in India(30 songs in 1 month!). It
took six months to record though. On the whole it is
fantastic, but there is one song, "Revolution 9",
which is simply tape collage and not a song. Released
November 1968
The most famous album of all time? It is a truly brilliant
album with many classical elements to it as well. This album
must be owned by every Beatles fan, or you are not a real
fan(I've got two copies!). I still think Abbey Road is
better. Definately the Beatles at their peak. Released June
1967.
Revolver was a turning point, where the music began to become
even more cerebral and melencholy. Released in 1966
This is a great, great album with loads of classic songs on
it. Released in 1965, just after Help!
